Yes, that’s me Shirley Meyer!
ARTFULNESS is about learning and developing new skills, meeting new people, and having fun!
I am an Art and Design teacher with seventeen years experience in mainstream education. I’ve also worked for Fine Art Auctioneers, Sotheby’s and am an Associate member of the Oxford Printmaker’s Co-operative.
Now pursuing my own interests in Art education, I am a firm believer in learning by doing……..the best and most fun approach. I arrange small group workshops in lino printing, life drawing , drawing and painting classes. I will also advise on GCSE and A level portfolios and offer one to one tuition.
So many people have untapped creative potential and tend to define themselves by their job. Hopefully I can encourage you try something new and find skills you never knew you had.
I also sell my own work at fairs and am currently working towards online sales.
Thank you Shirley for a lovely day today in Ewelme. Heather and I loved learning how to linocut and am sure will be doing more in the future. It was so much fun and we all managed to come up with lovely pieces. Thanks again.
